Check Bets provides that opportunity by running the most polished tournaments in the state, providing a large purse for tournament winners, setting a player-friendly environment for all competitors, and most importantly, making the tournament painless and successful for the charity. ESPN airs the World Series of Poker every year and it’s one of their highest rated shows. The Travel Channel airs World Poker Tour events weekly. Bravo is now airing their 2nd season of Celebrity Poker Showdown and it is one of their hottest shows as well! Ironically, all of the celebrity competitors play no-limit texas hold ‘em for their respective charities.
